Market share of low-cost airline SpiceJet surged to 13.1% between January-November 2015, after the company neared closure as its debts ballooned and market share plummeted to around 9% due to curtailing of its fleet. Market share of Indigo— the largest domestic airline by market share— stayed flat at 36%, followed by Jet Airways (19.3%) and Air India (16.2%).
