John Abraham shared that Steven Spielberg and Charlize Theron had praised his performance in 'Water', a 2005 movie directed by Deepa Mehta. "Spielberg...loved my performance in Water, whereas no one here even saw it for a day," he added. The film was nominated at the Oscars in the Best Foreign Language Film of the Year category.
