Australia-based researchers have trialled a software which detects signs of Parkinson's by measuring writing speed and pen pressure while a person draws spirals. The 62-person trial detected the disease involving shaking and muscle rigidity with 93% accuracy. Researchers hope the diagnostic tool could one day be used as a standard screening test to spot the condition in its earliest stages.
