Sporting CP announce arrival of Joao Pereira as head coach

Former Portuguese footballer Joao Pereira has been appointed as new head coach for Sporting CP, replacing his country-mate and former coach Ruben Amorim. Pereira will be a part of the club till 2027. On the other hand, former Sporting coach Amorim has also joined Manchester United as head coach, replacing interim coach Ruud van Nistelrooy.
