The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in India on March 5 lifted the suspension imposed on the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) with immediate effect. This decision comes following the initiation of the electoral process after the long overdue elections. The suspension came into force on February 2 after PCI perceived "intentional delay" in electing a new executive committee.
