Rapper RBX, who is suing "on behalf of other members of the general public", filed a class-action lawsuit against Spotify over billions of alleged fake streams. The lawsuit stated that such streams have been produced through fake, illegitimate, and/or illegal methods such as bots. The mass-scale fake streaming inflicts huge financial damage on legitimate artists, it added.
