Swedish audio streaming company Spotify on Monday announced it is laying off 6% of its workforce to bring down its costs amid a "challenging economic environment". "Over the next several hours, one-on-one conversations will take place with all impacted employees," Spotify CEO Daniel Ek told employees. "I take full accountability for the moves that got us here today," he added.
