The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has inked five Memoranda of Understanding with universities in the US to encourage exchange programmes. The agreements were signed with City University New York, Drexel University and the University of California, LA. Vice-Chancellor of SPPU Professor Karbhari Kale said the US universities were interested in Indian culture and yoga-related courses.
