Israeli spyware company NSO Group is looking to shut down the controversial Pegasus unit and sell the entire company amid risk of defaulting on debts, Bloomberg reported. The prospective new owners include two American funds that have discussed closing Pegasus. The Pegasus software, that can track mobile phones, was allegedly supplied to governments to spy on journalists and activists.
