It was touted that the Sunrisers Hyderabad will become the first team to reach the target 300 runs in IPL. They did reach 286 in their first match of IPL 2025. However, after their first three matches, where they have won only one and lost two, fielding coach Ryan Cook confirmed that 300 was never their expectation.
