On Monday, May 5, the IPL 2024 runners-up Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) received a massive blow as their recent signing, Smaran Ravichandran was confirmed to miss the remaining IPL 2025 season due to an injury. In his place, SRH have signed Harsh Dubey as Smaran's replacement, securing his services for INR 30 Lakh.
