Sri Lanka has deployed air force drones to fight a dengue outbreak which has infected over 77,000 people and left 56 dead since January. The country is using these drones to spot stagnant water on rooftops while police are inspecting homes to eliminate mosquito breeding sites. In 2017, the country battled its worst dengue outbreak, killing at least 450 people.
