Srikanth, Tanvi secure wins in China Masters opening round, Lakshya crashes out

Indian shuttlers Kidambi Srikanth and Tanvi Sharma secured wins in their respective men's and women's singles first-round matches at the China Masters 2026. Srikanth defeated Chinese Taipei's Chi Yu Jen 21-16, 21-15, while Tanvi beat Denmark's Amalie Schulz 21-16, 21-17. Meanwhile, Lakshya Sen, Devika Sihag and Unnati Hooda crashed out after losing their respective first-round matches.
