Srinagar's Jamia Masjid re-opened on Wednesday after record 135 days since Article 370 revocation on August 5. Anjuman-e-Auqaf, the body managing the 14th-century mosque, said that they held a meeting on Tuesday after security forces were removed from the gates and decided to go ahead with the prayers. Reports said some people became emotional and kissed the mosque's wooden pillars.
