Talking about casting Pakistani actress Mahira Khan in 'Raees', director Rahul Dholakia said Shah Rukh Khan's mother-in-law Savita Chhibber and his mother had suggested Mahira's name. "They had seen Mahira in some Pakistani television show. They both said, 'Yeh ladki achi hai'," he added. Rahul said they couldn't cast Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor or Anushka Sharma as they were "expensive".
