Employee headcount at Indian IT majors TCS, Wipro and Infosys fell by 16,254 in the October-December 2023 quarter while the headcount for HCLTech rose. The HR heads of the three firms said they'll first be utilising their existing workforce before they resume hiring. The four firms had reported a headcount decline of over 21,000 in the July-September 2023 quarter.
