Stana Katic, who plays the lead role of Captain Kate Beckett in the American crime-drama television series 'Castle' is leaving the show. Katic has been featuring in the show since its premiere in 2009 and worked in eight seasons since then. As per reports, broadcasting network ABC decided not to renew her contract citing “budgetary reasons”.
