The Walt Disney Company has announced the appointment of K Madhavan as President of Star and Disney India with immediate effect. Madhavan was serving as the company's Country Manager since 2019, overseeing the firm's television and studios business in India. Madhavan's appointment comes after Uday Shankar resigned as Chairman of India unit and President of Disney Asia-Pacific in 2020.
