Star Health and Allied Insurance Company's Founder, Venkatasamy Jagannathan, has resigned from the company's Board of Directors. This comes over a month after the insurance industry veteran stepped down as the company's CEO. Under Jagannathan's leadership, the Chennai-headquartered insurance company registered its highest-ever underwriting profit of ₹204 crore in financial year 2022-2023.
