Walt Disney-owned Star India has claimed $940 million (over ₹7,868 crore) in damages from Zee over the now-terminated deal on ICC men's cricket matches' TV broadcast rights. Star India filed a statement of case before a London court over the matter. Zee "categorically refuted" all claims and said it will "contest all unfounded claims by Star".
