A US court has ruled that coffee sold by Starbucks and nearly 90 other outlets in California must carry cancer warnings. The firms had violated a Californian law that requires warning customers about cancer-causing chemicals in their products. A not-for-profit group had sued the firms for failing to warn about the carcinogen acrylamide that is produced during the roasting process.
