Starbucks to set up first India GCC in Chennai

Starbucks has signed an MoU with the Tamil Nadu government to establish its first Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India, with Chennai as the location for the technology hub. The agreement was signed with Guidance, the state government's nodal agency under the industries department. The GCC will create 800 jobs in its initial phase, the government said.
