Starlink plan costs ₹8,600/month: Priyanka Chaturvedi on Musk's pitch to serve rural India

Former MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has questioned Elon Musk after he said "certain oligarchs" are blocking Starlink from operating in India and bringing internet access to remote villages. Chaturvedi said Starlink's planned packages for India start at ₹8,600 per month, while its hardware kit costs ₹34,000. "Rural per capita income in India was officially estimated at ₹40,925 per year," she added.
