Biocon's Founder Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw revealed that she started the biotech company when she was 25 and had ₹10,000 in her bank account. Speaking on Zerodha Co-founder Nikhil Kamath's podcast, 'WTF is with Nikhil Kamath', she added, "I had no business experience…I was trying to start a strange business called biotech which nobody understood...I was high-risk in the eyes of everyone."
