Talking about modern startup investing, Silicon Valley investor Chamath Palihapitiya has said, "We are in the middle of an enormous multi-variate kind of Ponzi scheme." Adding that the investors pressurise the startups to do well, he also said "They (investors) aren't people writing cheques out of their own balance sheet. These are people doing a job with other people's money."
