California-based startup Thync has created a device called 'Thync Relax Pro' which claims to reduce users' stress when attached to the back of the neck. The startup claims that electrode pads on the device stimulate nerves on the neck to help control stress levels, mood, and sleep quality when used with an accompanying smartphone app.
