California-based big-data startup Palantir has filed a lawsuit against major early investor Marc Abramowitz, claiming he filed patents based on the confidential information he "stole" from the company. Palantir's motto is "Save the Shire" and the company alleged that the investor also tried to trademark the word "Shire."
