Startup turns fallen leaves into fuel, cuts LPG consumption by 60%

A IIT Bombay-funded startup converts nearly two tonnes of fallen leaves from gardens into fuel pellets everyday which are used in the kitchen of Hostel 16, helping it cut LPG consumption by 60% while preparing meals for over 1,200 students. Notably, the institute earlier spent nearly ₹50 lakh annually on transporting the same garden waste for disposal.
