Startup uses Chinese AI model to hack camera, pics of phone with TikTok

An employee of US cybersecurity startup DepthFirst remotely accessed a phone's camera and gallery while it browsed TikTok by exploiting app bugs in a demonstration hack. DepthFirst built its AI bug hunter by heavily modifying China's Z.ai GLM model to identify vulnerabilities in open-source software used by TikTok. The startup disclosed the flaw to TikTok, which it confirmed and fixed.
