State-level cow milking competition sees yield of 44.2l in K'taka

A cow from Bidadi in Bengaluru Rural district produced 44.2 litres of milk in a day to win first place in the state-level cow milking competition held as part of Mysuru Dasara 2026. Its owner, Ashwini Ambarish, received ₹1 lakh. The competition featured 18 cows, with prizes awarded to cattle owners based on their animals’ milk production.
