Statues of girls reading vandalised with obscene words in Thane

Two public statues depicting girls studying were vandalised with sexually explicit words at Mira Road in Thane, reports stated. Content creator Roshni Gupta shared a video on Instagram showing obscene words written on the books held by the statues. Expressing outrage, she questioned public safety and criticised the mindset behind defacing the installation, reports added.
