Stefan Lofven becomes 1st Swedish PM to lose no-confidence vote

Sweden's Parliament ousted PM Stefan Lofven in a no-confidence motion on Monday, making him the first government leader to lose such a vote. The motion passed with a majority of 181 lawmakers in the 349-seat Parliament. The political crisis was triggered by the coalition government's plan to ease Sweden's rent controls for newly constructed apartments.
