One of the world's largest automobile manufacturers, Stellantis, is laying off as many as 2,450 factory workers after it stopped production of its Ram 1500 Classic truck. The layoffs, which will be effective in October, are a result of Stellantis' plan to shift from two-shift to one-shift operating pattern. Laid-off union members will get 52 weeks of supplemental unemployment benefits.
