Hawking was nicknamed Einstein in school despite low grades

Late British physicist Stephen Hawking was known for his brashness in school and was nicknamed 'Einstein' even though his grades were classified among the worst in his class. Hawking later went on to develop theories on black holes, the infiniteness of the universe and challenge Einstein's views on time travel. Coincidentally, Albert Einstein's 139th birth anniversary is being observed today.
