Sterling & Wilson Renewable Energy shares surged 16% to ₹224 on Monday, after emerging as the L1 bidder for ₹3,550 crore turnkey EPC contract awarded by Coal India for development of 875 MW (AC) grid-connected solar PV plant in Bikaner, Rajasthan. It has also secured order for 50 MW AC solar project in Maharashtra from a leading domestic IPP.
