Australia's Steve Smith dropped the catch of South Africa captain Temba Bavuma while fielding at the first slip with helmet on during South Africa's second innings in the WTC 2023-25 final. Smith suffered an injury to his hand and walked off the field. Bavuma was batting on 2 when Smith dropped the catch.
