Australia batsman Steve Smith smashed his 26th hundred in Test cricket after reaching the three-figure mark off 160 deliveries in the first innings of the fourth Ashes Test. Smith reached 26 hundreds in 121 innings, overtaking Sachin Tendulkar (136 innings) to become the second-fastest batsman to score 26 Test hundreds. The record is held by Don Bradman (69 innings).
