Former Australia captain Steve Smith smashed a hundred in international cricket after 534 days, reaching the three-figure mark off 185 deliveries in Australia's first innings in the Gabba Test against India. It is Smith's 33rd hundred in Test cricket. Smith has overtaken former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson's tally of Test hundreds and has equalled ex-England captain Alastair Cook's tally.
