Former SRH head coach Tom Moody has predicted that Steve Smith will go unsold in IPL 2024 auction. He further predicted that Mitchell Starc will break the all-time IPL auction record, which is currently held by Sam Curran, who was bought by PBKS for ₹18.5 crore in IPL 2023 auction. Starc last played IPL in 2015.
