Supreme Court has reduced the jail term of a woman who was convicted of beating her husband to death with a stick. "The weapon used in the crime is a stick which was lying in the house, and which, by no means, can be called a deadly weapon," it said. The court modified the conviction of murder to non-intentional homicide.
