RedBull's India market share in energy drinks declined from 75% to 7% in 5 years, thanks to Sting's rapid rise. Since Sting introduced 250ml bottles priced at ₹20, they opened a new segment of consumers who hadn't taken to energy drinks due to high prices. RedBull's absolute numbers didn't decline, the energy drinks market itself grew by 10x.
