A University of Sydney study found that native Australian stingless bee honey, known as sugarbag honey, has powerful, heat-resistant antimicrobial properties. Unlike other honeys, its effectiveness remains stable over time and across locations, offering promising potential as a natural alternative to synthetic antibiotics in fighting antibiotic resistance.
