Stonehenge-like prehistoric sundial discovered in Italy
short by Sanira Mediratta / on Friday, 6 January, 2017
Italian archaeologists have recently discovered a Stonehenge-like prehistoric sundial in Sicily. Professional experts used cameras and drones to confirm that the sundial could have been used by people to track seasons. The 'calendar rock' reportedly features a 3.2-foot-diameter hole and 23-foot-high stone walls. The discovery was made while the archaeologists were surveying nearby WWII bunkers.
