The UN Human Rights Chief Volker Turk demanded Israel to stop its ground assault on Gaza City, stating that evidence mounted to war crimes, crimes against humanity and more. He said, "I can only think of what it means for women, for malnourished children, for people with disabilities." He added, "The only response to this is – stop the carnage."
