Stop sending wrong signal: China as US team meets Dalai Lama

US lawmakers, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, met the Dalai Lama in Dharamshala prompting an angry response from China, which calls the Tibetan leader a separatist. The Chinese embassy urged the US to "recognise his anti-China separatist nature" adding, "Honour commitments US has made to China on issues related to [Tibet], stop sending the wrong signal to the world."
