Hailing from Meham in Rohtak district (Haryana), Ankita was born in a lower-middle class family. An alum of Hindu College (DU) and IIT Delhi, she lost her mother while preparing for UPSC exam but that didn’t stop her from realizing her dream. She cracked the UPSC CSE in 2018 by securing an AIR 14 in her second attempt.
