Stranded dolphins' brains show common signs of Alzheimer's: Study

Scientists have found that the brains of three species of stranded dolphins showed classic markers of human Alzheimer's, the University of Glasgow said. The study examined the brains of 22 odontocetes (toothed whales), having five different species, all stranded in coastal waters. Four animals from different dolphin species were found to have some brain changes associated with Alzheimer's.
