Madiga-dominated Warangal (SC) constituency in Telangana expects a lot from the 2024 winner. The voters are still fighting the after-effects of the unexpected floods last year. They look for a saviour to elect this time. However, they have a limited choice. For one, candidates from the three major parties are first-timers. Secondly, BJP and Congress candidates are former BRS members.
