Stronger grip linked to better brain function: Study

A new study in the Journal of Cachexia, Sarcopenia and Muscle shows that stronger handgrip strength helps offset the impact of cognitive decline on daily function in people over 90. Those with better grip strength were more likely to remain independent, highlighting how maintaining muscle strength can support healthy aging even in the oldest adults.
