Student protester climbs atop IAF aircraft displayed at LPU amid vandalism

A video has gone viral showing a student protester climbing atop an Indian Air Force aircraft displayed at Lovely Professional University amid vandalism. The decommissioned MiG-23UM aircraft was preserved and installed near the LPU main gate. The protests began after social media posts claiming a student was raped at the campus went viral. Students have blocked Jalandhar-Phagwara National Highway.
